While writing, arranging, producing, recording and mixing my album I was encapsulated in a bubble whose walls grew thicker the deeper into the project I got. Now that it’s finished, it’s also a process to come out of this bubble again. This happens through lots of different things. Going to concerts and experiencing other people making music is always a good thing. However, a bit more surprising was what I found in Marian Bantje’s book I WONDER that I came across in London a while back. It’s an absolutely stunning book that brings words, typeface and design together in a book that I’ve found very inspiring. You should check it out.
